The VitiGEOSS project was presented during a session of the Master of Science in Vine, Wine and Terroir Management celebrated last 11th of October in the Symington Family Estates facilities located in Quinta do Bomfin (Portugal).
During the session, that was attended by 23 students from France, Panama, Canada, the United States, India and the United Kingdom, project partners from Symington introduced VitiGEOSS as a key European project developing an innovative vineyard management solution to increase the resolution and reliability of satellite information applied to the viticulture sector.
In addition, the students of the master participated in a seminar focused on R&D activities and visited the Symington facilities and fields.
The Master of Science in Vine, Wine and Terroir Management, organised by the Ecole Supérieure des Agricultures (ESA), provides a comprehensive overview of the wine sector with the objective to help students acquire scientific, cultural and economic knowledge as well as technical and strategic skills.
