The deliverable describes the work carried out during Task 2.8 “Test and validation of Intelligent services” devoted at defining a testing methodology to assure that each VitiGEOSS intelligent service (In-field repository, Weather and Climate Forecasting, Phenological stage prediction and monitoring, Key Crop indicators tracking, Disease forecast and management system, Business & Sustainability management) is performing as expected, according to requirements defined in Task 2.1, and also that their outputs are delivered in the right way (time, format, type), considering the requirements of Task 3.1.

After a brief introduction on the general testing approach followed for the project, the document describes in detail the specific test cases that will be implemented or performed to validate the correctness of each intelligent service in an isolated way as well as in conjunction with the other services. As per grant agreement, an iteration of this document will be issued at month 30 where the results obtained from executing the testing plan will be described.
