VitiGEOSS project coordinator María Navarro from Eurecat Technology Center has presented the project at the e-shape project General Assembly celebrated in an online format between 19th – 21st October.
During the meeting, Mrs. Navarro gave a general overview about VitiGEOSS, explaining the main project’s objectives and the three different pilots, as well as the solution that will be developed and its expected results. The presentation also has shown the sustainable agriculture context and the importance of the use of satellite data on agriculture sector.
e-shape European project coordinates multiple actors and activities with the objective to foster the economic sustainability of Earth Observation Services and to bring Copernicus and the Group of Earth Observations (GEO) closer together for the benefit of users such as decision-makers, citizens, the industry and the researchers.
