Data controller

The Data Controller of the data is LINKS FOUNDATION (https://linksfoundation.com/) with registered office at Via Pier Carlo Boggio, 61, Turin – Italy.  LINKS FOUNDATION shall share the data in a aggregated and anonymous form to VitiGEOSS project partners (you may consult them at https://vitigeoss.eu/partners/).

LINKS FOUNDATION has implemented the necessary technical and organisational security measures that guarantee the security of the data provided and avoid its alteration, loss, processing and/or unauthorized access considering the state of technology, the nature of the stored data and the risks to which it is exposed, whether from human action or from the physical or natural environment, in accordance with the provisions of current regulations.

What is the purpose of this survey?

The aim of this survey is to identify the needs and wants of the European wine industry related to innovation for vineyard managing. This survey is being conducted by the Data Controller, LINKS FOUNDATION , in the framework of the European Research Project VitiGEOSS with gran agreement num. 869565.

Several survey questions may ask for personal data, which not all are mandatory. With the purpose of contact with you, the Data Controller shall treat this data only in case you gave the consent to do so marking the specific checkbox.

What is the legal basis of the data treatment?

The legal basis of the treatment of the data of this surveys is your consent.

Which are the recipients of the data granted for the survey?

The Data Controller is the principal recipient of the data, however, the survey is carried out using the platform JOTFORM acting as the data processor. JOTFORM does not require the user to register and answers will be anonymous and shall treat the data with the survey purposes and according with the European legal requirements.

The Data Controller may share the survey results with the other project partners in aggregated way.

The data will not be passed on to other third-party companies, should this case arise, authorisation will be sought first from the concerned parties, or unless there is a legal obligation to do so.

How long the data shall be retained?

Your answers will be treated confidentially and the information you provide will be kept anonymous in any research outputs/publications. The data provided by participants in the VitiGEOSS survey will be retained while the project’s obligations are in effect.

In case of the data personal collected, which are specific consented by the subject, will be retained while the purposes of the treatment still in effect and until the subject request its erasure.

Are the data subjected of profiling procedures or automated decisions?

The subjects are not submitted to automated decisions because of the survey answers.

The data obtained by the survey shall be submitted to profiling to fulfill with the purposes mentioned above, however the data will remain anonymous and shall be processed in accordance with the European privacy legal requirement.

Which are the rights of the survey participants?

Participation in this study is entirely voluntary and the replies will remain anonymous. The participant may stop its participation in the survey at any time or refuse the use of the data, without giving reasons.

The submission of the survey will only be possible if you answer all mandatory questions and press the submit button on the last page.

Please note however that, once you submit the survey, you may not be able to change and/or request the deletion of your results. The data collected from you will only be used by VitiGEOSS researchers.
