The VitiGEOSS project was presented during a session held as part of the 15th Barcelona Science Festival, which was celebrated on the 28th – 29th of May 2022 and organised by the Barcelona City Council.
Project partners from the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) participated in the discussion session titled “How do we adapt to climate change”, and took the opportunity to introduce the work conducted in VitiGEOSS, as one of their key research projects developing innovative solutions to reduce and mitigate climate change in vineyards.
The session also included the presentation of the research performed in other climate-related projects in which the BSC participates, such as MED-GOLD, S2S4E and CALIOPE.
The Barcelona Science Festival is a great encounter of science and culture, open to the general public and all ages. This year’s edition offered a programme with more than 200 activities, 27 different areas and more than 150 entities of the city related with science, research and knowledge.
