Partners from Eurecat, the VitiGEOSS coordinator, and the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre (BSC), presented the project in the Mobile World Congress (MWC), the largest and most influential connectivity event in the world, celebrated from 26th – 29th of February in Barcelona (Spain).
During the congress, Eurecat showcased a project’s demonstration and displayed the VitiGEOSS animated video offering a general overview about the project and the platform developed to promote a more sustainable agriculture. Additionally, VitiGEOSS was highlighted in Eurecat’s catalogue as one of its key research and innovation projects.

On the other hand, the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre (BSC) presented the project and distributed the VitiGEOSS executive summary to all attendees approaching its own booth. The document provides an overview of the project efforts and delves into the different services used for the co-development of its smart platform featuring digital tools for precision viticulture to drive more sustainable vineyard management and resilience to climate change.
